Kris Tan leads day-to-day operations at The Association Management Trust, where he has helped communities across the greater Sacramento region run smoothly and confidently since joining the firm. A certified community association manager, Kris combines deep technical knowledge of HOA governance, budgeting, and reserve planning with a hands-on, people-first approach that boards and homeowners feel from the very first call.
For Kris, great management is measured in trust and responsiveness. He believes every board deserves a partner who answers the phone, explains the options in plain language, and follows through. Under his leadership, the team pairs enterprise-grade tools with genuine human accountability—so directors always know exactly who to call, and homeowners get clear answers fast.
His work spans financial oversight, vendor and contractor coordination, capital and maintenance planning, and the difficult conversations that keep communities financially sound and well cared for. Whether guiding a board through a reserve study, resolving a resident concern, or onboarding a new association, Kris brings the same standard: thorough, transparent, and genuinely invested in the long-term health of every community he serves.
Our comprehensive team roles
Our team includes Community Managers who oversee day-to-day HOA operations, board meetings, and compliance. Staff Accountants manage AP/AR, financial reporting, and reserve fund tracking. A dedicated Maintenance Coordinator dispatches repairs and manages our licensed general contractor network. Our Homeowner Support Team handles resident inquiries, portal access, and violations.
